So where do the Barners fish? I have fished the Raritan a few times with a guide. I fished it on my own once last year. My old boat felt too small so this year I have a new boat and plan to try it more. I was also thinking about giving the Deleware Bay a try.

The baby is doing great Rocco, thanks for asking. I've been prepping him for the upcoming fishing season. Check out my report from yesterday down the Susky Flats[smile]

If anyone fishes the mid Jersey shore let me know. I would like to get a fishing partner. I have a boat and would love to swap trips. This will be my second year fishing in NJ (was in Maryland past 10 years and fished the Chesapeake) so it's still pretty new to me.

Haven't visited TF in close to a year until this morning. Re-added it to my favorite places so I plan on visiting/contributing more frequently.

I'm a contributing member to NJStriper, NJFishing, Stripers OnLine (SOL), NJ FishChat, StriperSurf and Noreast as well as various other fishing boards that are based in the New England, the mid-Atlantic, south and west coasts. I usually go by the screen name Skolmann but am registered on some as Tyderunner.

Long time lurker on The Barn but just registered a few days ago. Seems my computer has several very annoying issues with TidalFish since the new format was initiated around T-Day. Other sites like The Barn and SOL still work very well... so I'm starting to branch out.

Last fall I took a 1 week fishing vacation to the Avalon/Corson's area, all shore bound fishing. I was truly impressed with the amount of shore access compared to the Chesapeake. Love the sod banks!!! Didn't catch much of note, but did catch lots of 10"-12" blues, a few small sea bass, couple of flounder, 2 dink trout and one trigger fish. Still had lotta fun though, so size doesn't always matter.

I'm Aquasport190 on The Barn. I've been on this site since it was World Wide Angler back in the late 1990s. My in-laws moved from the Chesapeake in 2004 and I got more active on the Barn.

Another long time bassbarn member and paid sponsor here. I have been a member here for quite some time as well but don't visit much anymore. Moved north after 12 years in Delaware and the barn just covers more water that I frequent. SOL covers most of the water I fish CT/RI/MA but unfortunately most SOL members are surf guys.

Ian, I can't believe you got kicked out for putting your private boat up for sale. I'm gonna call Ron tomorrow and let him know what happened there. Thats just nutz. And I left here for the barn because of stuff like that.

New To Tidal Fish just looking around belong to the Barn to. Have a few issues with them about thier rules&regs seems it's okay to do somethings for some and not for others. Also beware thier is a Barn Mod. watching you all on here an you know who you are Vince Watch what you say or the Barn axe will fall. " Surf&Truf Born To Fish Live To Hunt"
