Hit the parking lot @ the 95 bridge again... squeezed my boat into a spot just above the bridge. Gold was the ticket today... My arms are hurtin from a the reelin....Got 2 dozen nice Hickories up to 20" about 10 white perch,, and a couple of small herring. No americans...The runs still on, we may get a few more weeks of this so if you haven't got out there yet.... go join the circus... The city ramp was a mess with people putting in and out 10 at a time.. almost worth the 6 gal's of gas it takes to run up from Osborn... and watch out for the guys with the surfcasting rods fishing from shore.....They like to drop cannon balls near ya.... Full combat city fishing... probably the last time for me this year..its not very peacefull fishing..... Think I may head up to the mountains for "west and weaxation, at wast"

I try a find a spot kinda of from anybody but that doesn't stop some one from anchoring next to you.

Yeah, yesterday I watched e few guys in a brand new deck boat pull all the way up past the flood gate, turn and try to set an achor right in front of an old timer in a jon boat that had been anchored there all morning. They hit the guys jon boat:nono: and pulled his anchor line with their motor:eek:. WHAT THE HECK Did they have to get so damn close for. When we arrived, we pulled up to the middle of the river, no boats with in 50 -60 feet of us and dropped. FISH ON IN 3 casts. :thumbup:
