Loch Raven 4-10-05

Fished 6:30-2

4lb 5oz bass at 7AM on spinner bait, biggest yet I've gotten at the Loch (been fishing there 3 years). Also got 2 pickerel, partner hauled in a 2lb bass near end of the day. Lots of boats on the water today, renters and owners. We were up north.

Thats great I've seen some big fish caught at Loch Raven,my 6 year old son caught a 4 1/2 pounder right above the dulaney valley bridge that was the biggest one caught out of my boat,he caught it on a 7 inch texas rigged worm,I gave up on that place c& bought a bass boat & know fish the upper bay you can really catch some big fish & #'s in the bay,but still would love to get back to the Loch this spring!

Greg, maybe you can give me some tips on the upper bay some time. I'm moving up to that area in a few months and would like to try my hand at tidal bass fishing. For now though I'm sticking to the reservoirs (till I get a nice bay boat).
