Departed Poquoson at 1430 hrs on my friend Bryant's boat "Catch 22". It was myself
Bryant and Cord all of Bull Island. We went straight to the piles at the fourth island
at slack tide and had no luck. Moved to the tube and saw some guys non stop pulling
up tog, we anchored within feet of the "Rogue Rock" in 10 ft of water and pulled off 20
decent Togs in 2 hours, kept 12. Bait of choice was fiddler, the guys next to us were
using hard crab and doing just as well. Bay conditions were awesome at less than 1
ft. Back at Poquoson 1900 hrs. Nice quick trip and had a great time with a couple of
good friends.

I give up what were the guys in the Parker doing with the blue lines (hoses?) off of the stern of their boat? ? ?

I didn't even know Cord knew how to fish. I'll have to say something to him at work tomorrow. Great pics again Brian.

Hey Brian,

When you guys anchor up, what type of anchor do you use? I have never done this but want to try.

Thanks

awesome report as always, I think the one grady white had as much growth as the rocks behind it!!

my question is, do you use the auto settings or manual?

Brian, Nice pics, I was out there from about 0800 until noon fishing for flatties. We could not buy a fish.
Came back and fished the Backrirer reef, saw a couple of shorts caught but we did not do anything.
back at messick about 2:30. Beautiful day on the water, good fishing companions, Son and Son-in-
law, just no fish. Can't have it all.

Kip I and most people with common sense use a wreck anchor. They hold good and
they will bend so you can break it free. I also put some pvc on my bow rail to keep
it out of the way when I am not using it.
Mnsktr17 I have a Nikon D-40, sometimes in manual, sometimes not, just depends.

Once again great picks. You should have a link of some kind telling what camera you have and how you get such great shots because I bet every post you have someone ask you that question. I understand why they ask with such great pics.
