Rock on !

Fished the Chowan this weekend with no keepers Saturday but today caught 5 and kept 3. An 18", a 19" and a 28 1/2" weighing 12.5#. Kinda made up for yesterday.

My son and I went out at 500pm on Sunday and we were in the fish for about an hour and caught about 20 rockfish trolling. Only three were keepers. He caught a couple on a smithwick and the smithwick was bigger than the rock. The name throwback didn't do him justice, I think small or minature would. Seems like the best places to catch them are around anytype of underwater structure.

Seeing some keepers, just North of my place. Lots of bait in the shallows lately.
