Black drum

Where are people catching drum these days ? i know the eastern shore is always good but i hate to trailer that far just to fish one day . does anybody catch them around 42 or the cell ?

Heard of occasional reds around the cell but not any mention of the blacks. You can make the run south on a nice day with the boat. It'll take a while but its doable.

i was at the shore from thurs to sun fishing for flounder, still a bit early for the blacks but it should happen soon as i have heard of some reports that a few have been netted commercially

First one was pulled out of the surf at Chinco this weekend..not a big one, 22lbs, but it's a start.
