my sis "hates" this. says it SUX. I see it in the stores, SO? She lives in Mississippi and doesn't get home (VA Beach) often and really misses fishing. She is a really good cook. Is it the fish? I know that alot of fish that used to be trash are now the "IN THING". Any help or Ideas? Thanks.

Nasty. Falls apart and tastes bad. Whatever this beast is, it has no relation in flavor or texture to the flounder you catch on the east coast. I think they used to use it in pet food but the marketing folks have managed to sell it to people who don't know any better. Yuck, yuck, yuck. If you can't find anything else frozen, even tilalpia is a big step up from this stuff.

Another Flounder I've found to be equally as bad was marked Canadian Flounder.Ths too was mushy & tasteless. You can't beat fluke from the mid atlantic.
