View Full Version : FLW Potomac Tourn.
Does anyone know if the anglers in the flw tournament starting
this Wed. will be pre- fishing \ practicing on Mon. or Tues.
Was planning to use Smallwood ramp to fish Mattawoman on
Monday. I know from experience its not the place to be during a
pro tourn.

I believe both monday and tuesday. Kind of makes fishing for non/tourney's not so much fun as its so crowded. But atleast you can stick some fish and throw them off for the pro's. Make things a little more interesting.
My father fished last Thurs. and said the parking lot at Smallwood was full of FLW folks. The good news is they had 19 fish with 3 over 5 lbs. All were caught on plastics with 1/8 oz. weights. They talked to several guys practicing for the Tourney and none of them had done a thing. Good luck.

i find it hard to belive that they didnt get bit. they were just tight lipped until the tourney is over.
