Kitty Hawk Bait and Tackle??

Anybody remember Vince and Whitney at Kitty Hawk Bait and Tackle? I know they closed years ago, but was wondering what they are up to. I think Whitney went back to Florida after he closed his shop, but what happened to Vince?

Vince's house finally took the plunge into the ocean back around '03(Isabelle?or some NE blow).The shop was long history at that time.Whitney and Vince had parted ways after Whitney's shop openned.I miss political debate with Vince,as he had an essential reverence for the Constitution you could count on.He forged ahead as one of a stripe,never to allow conventionality to cloud his view of freedom and justice.I wish Vince all the happiness this world can offer,he surely is a kinder person than I have ever been,and despite his detractors on this beach,I stand in his corner as a he was a True Champion of Individuality.Thanks for asking this question Flatliner,it would be nice to know how to contact Vince.

Yep! I learned how to build rods from Vince back in the 80's. Excalibur Custom rods and Vince. I heard that he and Whitney parted and I also heard that Whitney was in a really bad accident and moved. I have been looking for him for years as I wanted to catch up with him. Almost everything I learned in rodbuilding was from him. A true wealth of knowledge.

I have several flounder rods Whitney built for me.The last one he built in Fla. where he moved.That was 4-6 years ago.His number I had has been disconnected.I was also wondering what happened to him.When he sold "Whitney's" the couple that bought it didn't last a year.
