I know what you're all thinking. If it came out of the Monocacy it probably had three eyes!
Things like that just didn't matter today.
I headed out with the intention of catching A LOT of fish. And that is exactly what I did.
Final count: 93 fish caught. 24 smallies, 5 suckers and a rediculous number of sunnies. All in all, a great day.

Man that does sound like a great day! I would have lost count at ten.

Yeah, I had to keep repeating the numbers in my head to keep track. It was one of those things. I set myself a hundred catch goal, but ran out of daylight. Maybe I should have included those that spit the hook!
I had intentions of trying again on Sunday, but mother nature is not going to permit me my fun :(

Been a long time since I've heard of anyone catching suckers. I used to target them as soon as the ice was off the river. Not bad eating out of the cold water and long as you could put up with the bones. After mid March they weren't much good.

Now that muskies are prevalent, livelining suckers might lead to some serious pullage there[wink].
