Fish are starting to fattin up at Briery, caught two citations Sunday. That makes my tenth one for 2005.[excited]

How big's a citation in Va.?They're starting to bight good here in the upperbay too.Some in the 4lb.range.How many acres is Briery?

Briery is 845 acre-Lake and a largemouth bass citation is 22 inches or 8 pounds. Let the fun begin! Good luck.

I'm not sure from Petersburg, but its 7 miles south of Farmville on route 15.

Fishing has been tough last couple of weekends. But the fish have been fighting harder too. They have fatter bellies, full of shad.

I don't know what happened to the other posts?Anyway how long is the lake from each end?I didn't get to read it if there was a post.

Taking a guess I would have to say its about 3 miles long.

Camping is allowed, but you have to be something like a 100 yards from the water. I have heard there is a campground somewhere near by, but I don't know where.
