Bob was rather excited about his catch today. His first citation striper that was a real thrill. Hope the pic comes out ok? Yes it was caught in the James River - just like all the big cats - Right there in that Dutch Gap area and it was released after a little help reviving the monster. Stripers are so stressed out regardless of size when they go through a struggle like today. Bob was a bit "stressed out" today AFTER I netted the hog for him. Not exactly the Flathead we were trying to catch but what a fish. Way to go Bob.:bigfish:

Beautiful and ditto on the careful release. Last year I played one and then quickly released it only to watch it float away on its side. Pulled anchor, caught up with her and faced her upstream moving back and forth a good 3-4 minutes to revive her. Now I do it every time and 9 times out of ten, they need it, the bigger ones especially. Again a hearty Congratulations.
