BASSMASTER CLASSIC
KISSIMMEE, Fla. - Rick Morris of Lanexa in New Kent County had a five-fish limit of 18 pounds, 14 ounces yesterday to move into fifth place after the second day of the 36th annual CITGO Bassmaster Classic on Lake Tohopekaliga in Central Florida.

Morris, who opened the tournament Friday with a five-fish catch of 18-7, began the second round in 12th place out of 51 anglers.

John Crews from Salem, the other only Virginian in the field, caught five fish totaling 10-5 and dropped from 30th to 33rd and didn't make the cut to the top 25 for the final day.

Luke Clausen's five-fish limit of 14-15 ounces helped him keep his lead. Clausen has a two-day total of 44-5.

Arkansas' Ron Shuffield and Florida favorite Terry Scroggins had better second-day catches and moved into second and third, respectively.

Shuffield is in second place with a two-day total of 39-15 after landing a 21-0 limit yesterday. Scroggins vaulted into third place with a second-day catch of 28-6 for a two-day total of 39-4.
