We hit a large pond off the Severn last Saturday but couldn't get a bite. Wondering when I can expect largemouths to wake up and get active. Was working a weedless worm across the bottom.

im hopi nonce this weather stays warm they will awaken again.
i found the weedless worm to be very effective last year with no weight.

the bass are hitting right now. try using a popar lure, spinner bait, crankbait. been biting in the ponds, lakes, and rivers.

TRY A SUSPENDING ROGUE JERK BAIT.I CAUGHT TWO BIG ONES IN MY POND LAST WEEK ON THIS BAIT.(7IBS.AND 8.2)ALSO TRY SLOW ROLLING A SPINERBAIT.CAUGHT 5 YESTERDAY!

Caught tidal bass this weekend on 3in storms.

Lots of tidal Bass are being caught in the upper bay as of this weekend including today.Stripers are very hit or miss,mostly miss.

Capt Nick you must have been out there catching!!I caught some rock on sunday bass on sat. Its good to be versatile. BTW you part of UBBB?
