Good fishin

Me my cousin ben and my buddy justin went on my buddy justins boat the "Just Right" Flounder fishing today and did pretty well before the wind came up. We caught 12 keepers and threw back at least that many more. We jigged them all up. Best day I have had this year so far.........Thanks to my cousin Ben my camera is at the bottom of the bay. Wish i had the pics to show.

What made you change your mind?


This time of year better fish for something else. They come through early at the end of march beggining of april for about 2 to 3 weeks real thick then spread out throughout the bay. I probably wont fish for them again at the bridge tunnel untill late may or june. Id rather striper fish cause I know ill catch them.

I had the day off so we went and got lucky i guess. we went tog fishing first but got tired of getting beat up while anchored so we started flounder fishing. Trust me I was just as surprised as anyone else when I pulled in the first one. They bit for about 1 to 1 1/2 hours right at the tide change then just shut down. hopefully it is a sign to come this year but who knows. we will see.
