Hi

Sorry I did not see this thread. Today's Posts was a "Search function"

The search option is only available for Subscribers. A full description of what is available to each level of subscription is listed here: http://www.tidalfish.com/index.php?categoryid=19&p2_articleid=21 . If you would like to read feedback from other Tidal Fishers who choose to subscribe as well as read some posts by me about the history of the search function on Tidal Fish this is a good link to check out: http://www.tidalfish.com/forums/chesapeake-angler-original-board-maryland-angler/260525-calling-all-tfers-support-tidal-fish.html

We are not trying to be cheap or anything like that and we are not moving to an all pay site at all; the search function takes up a lot of resources on our servers and also bandwidth which costs us a decent chunk every month and we just need to cover our costs which have risen. You also know as a TFer that we keep the site clutter free from ads all over vs. other sites that have ads all over the place. While I would like us to get more advertisers, I do want to keep the site clean, easy to use and uncluttered. So the subscription fees help us offset any clutter that ads all over would cause.

I understand if you do not want to subscribe, not everyone sees the value in TidalFish.com to pay. We will continue to do the best we can do provide a good service.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you,

Brandon
