Hot shore pond action

Today I enjoyed a fantastic trophy bite on an unnamed pond. All fish were caught in the deeper areas away from shore structure. We released five bass between 2-2-1/2 # and a 24" pickeral plus numerous spikes. Kept for the table a bunch of palm size gills, and several 13-14" Y.P. Best lures were chartrause spinner bailts, mepps #1 & 2 in firetiger and 1/8 oz. green bettlespins.

yellow perch on the bottom looks like a length citation...thats a pretty YP. I am very anxious to get into some panfish, but it's kinda hard to pull myself away from the saltwater fishies right now.
