fished a tourny out of nottawy but went to the chowan river and fished. we missed a lot of nice fished on buzz baits and frogs. caught a lot of bowfins. my son managed to get a 5.14 lb bass. took big fish for the tournament. going to try next sunday again.

Those Bowfins are a blast .How big were they.The top water bite should start real soon up here.What's your favorite frog?

they were anywhere from 3lbs to 8lbs. they are fun to catch if nothing else is biting. but there are to many in the rivers down here. they are like snake heads to me. they will eat anything and there own if they are given a chance.
