Nice fishing there bud ! Got a few 3 lbs and smaller recently but fished a quarry the other day that had a couple of nice ones that I could see 7-8lbs but wouldn't hit nothing ( even a live bluegill ) Lol , they will get hungry sooner or later. I caught a 9lb one in a pond in Nc earlier this year and released it and it was tough thats for sure. I still have the 13 1/2 lb on the wall but that was from the west coast. Stay on em there are some nice ones around. Good luck. Dan

we fished way south this past weekend and it was not all that great. had bass come up look at our top water baits and swim back down. did miss a big bass on a spinner bait. he looked to be about 5 or 6lbs. he grab the tail of it but i could not set the hook. i'll get him again. we fished salmons creek down in edenton, put in at winton.
