What's been going on?

Baseball and lacrosse have me pretty tied up. In fact, I haven't been out since the pickerel derby.

What has everyone been up to? Anything happenning in the river?

I got about ten minutes of pier fishing yesterday. Between the coffee colored water, the shore projects at Edgewater and the new piers at Sullivans cove I don't think there is a fish within a mile of Round Bay. :yawn:
A neighbor of mine is doing a survey with the Severn Riverkeeper on Wednesday. I told him to let me know how he made out and what the river looks like. I'm not sure if I want to evern hear.

Good question, Greg. Starting in about a week we should see the less well-known Spring run of Severn Stripers, but I haven't really fished for them in a few years. Perch should be settling into the dock pilings in a couple weeks.

Still have your prize money! Are you coming on Wednesday to the meeting?

Was walking the dog late Friday night and walked down to the pier. There were quite a few small breaking fish feeding topwater on the warm moonlit surface Friday night. I am assuming they were white perch? I tried throwing a small spinner off of the pier on Saturday with no luck.

Trying to, but with all of the past rain, I may be on a ball field somewhere making up a rainout. Unless it rains on Wednesday as well.
