I live over here in the western part of the state and all the rivers are high and muddy. Does all this rain effect the river down in tappahannock that much. thinking of coming down this weekend

water will no doubt be stained but fishable..should be some croaker around if you bottom fish.

I was in fredericksburg this morning and the water was really high and fast with large logs and even whole trees floating down. If you're fishing the Rapp. this weekend from a boat be on the lookout.

I saw that too...looked like you could white water (brown water) raft.... I haven't looked at the river around tappahannock but I'm sure it looks like a milkshake but will check it out tommorrow...might take a few days to recover from all this rain.

that sucks a buddy of mine went yesterday around Urbanna and brought home a cooler full of big croaker, fishing anywhere from 10-30 ft he said drifting
