oh well friend and a I decided late weds night not to fish today with the ? winds/ rain but I said I'd post A report here it goes. Wife said to go fishing we decide not to. wake up sunny no wind no rain. Decide to get stuff done around house earn a pass for next week right???? Decide to rip some boards for tomato stakes son and I planted. should have GONE FISHING, 5th board left thumb through saw OH S%^&*&% go to ER doc cleans up wound ties off the arteries and tells me not enough left to close with sutures. Guess i can't hitchhike left handed anymore. thank God it was my left hand and not my right I can still hold and crank a rod. I went and got one to make sure . Oh well next time I say I'm going fishing I'm going even if I sit on the dock all day. hope yall had a better day

OUCH! Sorry to hear of the injury. Glad it won't affect your fishing (too much). Hope it heals as quick as possible. Have to admit - your wife was right.

Sorry to hear about your hand! I think about doing that daily. I build custom built-ins and bookcases. Am seriously looking at the new table saw that can detect flesh from wood and will automatically stop the saw and lower the blade. Keep it clean and keep moving it as much as possible ( without tearing the stitches ) and you will have more movement when it finally heals. Just go out fishing you'll forget all about the hand.

Oh, man! What a bummer! But as long as you can still turn that crank, you'll be okay. You're right - YOU SHOULD HAVE GONE FISHING!!
