Did anyone else get your letter yet saying the 2006 Guys and Dolls season has been cancelled? That is bad news.

They fish 6 tournaments in both Alabama and Georgia. Call Harry or Vivian 256-927-6673

Does anyone know any other details? Have all of the divisions been cancelled? Is everyone okay? My hubby and I fished the Georgia division this past 2 years and were looking forward to a third.

Basically it says "Unfortunately we have some really bad news for 2006. We are going to have to cancel the season due to unforseen circumstances beyond our control. There are contractural agreements that cannot be met therefore we are cancelling the season. During the next few months, we will be seeking investors that might be interested in taking guys and dolls to the next level we desire and you deserve. If this does not happen you will be kept informed by email or snail mail. A final decision will be made about the future of Guys and dolls by September 1, 2006. "

If paid by check they are returning it and if credit card the card has not been charged. Just got news themselves within this last week. Had no choice but to cancel.

[excited]Would anyone in the sc guys/dolls be willing to just turn it into a money tournament and be just a fishing club until they get things worked out?

That is what a lot of us was saying, till when ever the issue get's solved. I heard that maybe they could not get two boats, I say give more money for Regionals or something. I cant see it not being worked out to at least fish.
