Carolina Couples Club - Lake Wylie

Our tournament was a day of strong wind, heavy rain, lightning and thunder but we still had 18 couples participate. We heard later there were some tornado warnings out but were were not aware of them. It cleared up right around weigh-in time. 69 fish were caught for a total of 158.23 lbs. Robert & Janet Crossland took FIRST with 16.72 lbs; John & Susan Mills took SECOND with 14.52 lbs; Ronnie & Stephanie Mueller (a couple fishing with us for the first time this year) took THIRD with 13.93 lbs. Susan Mills had big fish of 5.14 lbs, her second in a row, and Ronnie Mueller had big fish of 4.20 lbs, also his second. We are all looking forward to our next tournament but hope the weather will be a little more pleasant then.

David and Stacy, looks we are the only couples that go on the board any more. I am disappointed more people don't get involved and keep us informed. Stacy, how did you do with the WBT? Let us know. Janette

My WBT experience was an EXPERIENCE! The company was good, but the fishing left alot to be desired! I weighed in 1 fish on Thursday for a whopping total of 12 ounces and nothing on Friday. I probably caught 20 or more fish on Friday just nothing that was keeper size! The weather there was a little on the stormy side too. Weigh-in on Thursday was delayed almost 2 hours, it was 6:30 by the time my poor little fish made it to the scales! I am going to give it one more shot and go to Lake Norman in July.
