Went down to Marathon with the wife. Managed to go offshore in my dad's 19ft boat on Tuesday. Was hoping to see a weed line or stuff floating close in, but ended up going all the way out to the 409 humps. We found some large schools of dolphin feeding on baitfish and jumping out of the water, but they were moving real fast and
we couldn't get them to bite. Finally I saw a large piece of plywood, trolled by it an proceeded to catch 4 5-12 pound dolphin. Also managed to pick up a tripletail on a piece of ballyhoo. Had a great time can't wait to go back.
