Oregon Inlet to the point report 5-16-09

Headed out of OI Sat morn with a right stiff southerly breeze. Inlet was okay and ride out wasn't to bad, but it got a little sporty a few miles from the point. We started trolling a few miles before the point and eventually ran into the fleet. We picked up four gaffer dolphin and headed in early as it was getting rougher. Broke in my new rods I got from Tat-Tuna. Here is a pic of my buddy with a couple.

Good deal, at least you got out. I am surprised anyone (smalll boats) even tried today.

You earned those fish today. We discovered a broken Throttle Cable at the RAMP at OI. had to pull her and leave.....I hate it when that happens...but congrats on your dolphin, those are some nice ones !.....Bob
