Buxton surf

Stayed with family at Cape Hatteras Motel last week. Good fun and weather, but fishing stunk! Fished surf behind motel a lot. Incoming, outgoing, day, night. Net two fish - one 14" flounder, one unidentified shark (also a small spec from sound). Not even any bait nibblers! From reports I wasn't alone. Al at Dillon's Corner said "fishing's been slow, but this is rediculous!". Had report of one cobia from pier, and one big drum from Point from a kayak.

Thanks for the input and I heard the same thing as well. Sounds like you just hit a tough week! It happens to all of us at some point.

Heck all I did was battle cow nose rays all weekend. it's pullage, but cownose rays are getting a little old right now for me. Too much of a workout in an incoming tide!!![tongue]

Anyway, hope you had a good vaction at least![grin]
