Fished Wed. the 28th. A few spot on a bottom rig then changed to a red jig head and a white gulp grub. Ended up with 4 flounder, 4 specs, and a nice puppy. 2 of the specs were 15 inches. The pup broke off trying to pull it up. Maybe 3 or 4 lbs. Felt like 10 lbs.

Chapa,
Welcome to the land of the free ~ to post surf fishing reports and any info (like a URL to a custom surf rod builder, rod blank/rod building parts supplier, and some of the best guys ya want to meet http://www.fishsticks4u.com/). And all to help out all of us surf fishing brethren without retribution based on personal gain and paranoia [excited]
And no I'm not getting any special rod deal or the like. Been payin' same price as any Joe off the street and still beats/is a better value to me then the customs I can't afford from the OBX !
Don't get me started 'bucket

I gave Ronnie a visit today. Scored an old Lamiglass blank and he’s building me a 50(whatever that means) for them big bitters I've been missing. 5 runs this summer and nada.
He tried to take advantage of my ho-ness by showing me a TLD 20 but I was a good little HO and said no means no. Plus I have a Penn 113HWL coming soon. It’s easy to get parts and work on.
On another note I saw a friend of ours rod in there broken to all hell. What’s up with that?

Maybe I need to upgrade his chair and get in a little better![tongue][tongue][tongue] Or maybe I'll just cut his grass and score a Lami myself!

The Lami I happen to find at PA distributors in the back covered in about 15 years of dust. I couldn't help myself. It needed a home real bad.
Ronnie was suprised to see such an old beauty.
