Took the kayak out after work Wednesday for a little fun out in Lynnhaven inlet. Had some trouble at first locating the rats along the flats, but after a little paddling and test soaks, the tide started moving and the fishing was on! Ended up catching about 10-15 lil guys in the 17" range and the final fish was a keeper @ 23". Not exactly the 50"+ fish that everyones catching on the ES, but still damn fun for a few hours.
Bait was (previously frozen) cut mullet.

good fishin. I went a few weeks ago with a buddy and caught tons of 17inch range fish. Could get a keeper until finally my buddy hooked into a 27 incher!!

Good fishing, who wants to breakout the garden hoe to scale the large ones, the small ones are soooo tasty:yes:
