I've fished Lynnhaven a few times at night....lots of Blues, Croakers, a few Stripers around the Bridge, and you can pick up a Flounder or two drifting over the channel.....as for bait....can't beat the gulp...

I’m sure a live minnow on a Carolina rig would work well there. Make sure that your egg sinker is heavy enough so that it won’t fly down the channel on a strong current.

Ill be out there fishing tonight and tommorrow. The pup bite is on, mostly small fish but a few big fish mixed in. The tide is perfect this weekend too. Fish cut mullet on a carolina rig with 1-3 oz egg sinker. Cast it up against the marsh in 1-2 ft. of water and hang on.

Fished for pups today and once before, did real good at tail end of incoming both times, then bite died at slack tide, then started again once tide started moving out. I was killing them on Gulps both times.
