Went out of Solomons today around noon and what a blast it was. However, we did not catch a single thing!!! HAHA. The fun part about it, was that the Blue Angles were flying around. It was a really cool show. We had fron row seats being on the water. There were some people sitting on the rocks at the end of the Island but I do not belive it was as good of a view.

Me and my friend Billy decided not to make the trip out to Drum Point due to the fact that the went was in our face and it was getting pretty chopy out. So, we stayed around the CBL pier to see if we could pick up any bites from the blues. Didnt get anything there so im guessing that it will be a few more weeks. However, I was getting bites at the mouth of the Harbor and by the way they felt, im guessing they were little blues! We just stayed around the pier after that to watch the show/practice. Also saw a B-1 which was awsome!!!

First real paddle in a while and had a blast with my best friend who just got back but has to go on Sea Duty for ROTC for a month starting next Tuesday.

Joey,
I wish I live close to Chesapeake Bay so I can join you whenever weather is good. I fished last Saturday for two hours (6:00am to 8:00am) at Bushwood and caught two nice croakers and one 8 lb blue catfish. Though I drove an hour and 50 minutes one way. Tomorrow I am planning to fish either CCNP Rip or Breezy Point depending on how early I wake up. Have good long weekend.

Good luck out there Joe

Also, if you read this Bill,
I saw your truck with the Hobie in the Back, did you make it out at all yesterday?
I parked on the other side of the road from you and was going to leave a note.
