I hope to be fishing with a bunch of kids out of Colonial Beach this weekend. Any advice on getting them catching instead of waiting. What's the story on the Swan Point area? Thanks for any help. :yes:

I would target Croaker. Bottom fish with Squid or Shrimp. I'm not really familiar with that area. Hopefully someone that is will chime in and help you. Keep an eye on the weather in the afternoon. The wind may pick up.

I fished off of the CB pier on Friday and caught 20 croaker in 1 1/2. I used sausage and peeler. Had a great time. They ranged from 12 inches to 16 inches. I kept 14 of the 12 to 16 inch croaker, did catch some smaller that toatalled the 20 croaker.
