I called Yamaha today to inquire what was being done about E15 fuel coming out and how its going to affect my warranty and if i was going to have to run any additives or maybe have some adjustments done to make the motor run properly and the guy i talked to stated "we have no idea what the E15 gas is going to do or how its going to affect your warranty or performance, we are still testing, and we believe that you will notice a loss in power even at wide open throttle and a loss of fuel effeciancy." I am suppose to call them next week and give them my engine serial number to make sure they have my correct home address so im on a mailing list for any possible updates. I just found this very interesting and thought i would share. I have a 2006 150 hp 4 stroke and i cannot afford to repower if this fuel destroys my motor.

is E15 ineveitable or are you just speculating in case it does happen? If the lobbyists will do their jobs, then they will, at a minimum, protect E10 near waterways, marinas etc for the sake of marine engines
