Fished Fri, started and stayed around 535 line in about 130 feet of water on the change and a bit deeper in 76 degree water. Non stop big gaffer dolphin. couldnt get all our lines in the water for first hour without getting bit. Southeast wind, a little bumpy, grass very scattered, fish couldnt care less. One of our best baits was was a squid chain of about 6" squid with a 7" Uncle Josh pork rind on the hook squid. Caught as well if not better than ballyhoos, and the fish cant tear the porkrind off! At the end, even caught a sailfish on the porkrind rig, although he was foul hooked. Now is the time to fish if you want to catch dolphin! if you dont have a boat to go, charter a boat, you will have nonstop action. I heard dolphin are all up and down the line, so no need to crowd into one spot.

We didnt even try for tuna, having too much fun with the gaffers. I think the charter boats went deeper and some caught some nice big eyes along with the gaffers, I believe north of where I was, but honestly i would much rather be alone wearing out the dolphin than in a crowd of charter boats. Tunas best on a Northeast wind, but it will be rougher. I bet the gaffers will still be around in a couple of weeks and you will have a blast. Cobia should be here too.

Another great shallow report. Gotta stop passing up the inside changes when it's a 3 day strech of calm seas with pretty water pushed in.
Thanks for the report.
