croaker, spot, and perch

[Rockfish Man]

Used bloodworms and shrimp to fish off my dock in the corrotoman. Perch and Spot could be caught by dropping a regular bottom rig down by the pilings. The spot were perfect size for live-lining. Croaker were also biting pretty good as long as you had a line in the water. I threw a small spot out and nothing hit it...I was hoping for a visit from Mr. Rockfish but no luck. Probably caught about 25 fish.

Friday morning left Carter's Creek at 0630 and fished the cell...el skunko. Ended up with just a boat ride that ate up about 60 gallons of diesel. Today, while putting around in the Zodiac along the docks on Crab Point in Carter's Creek, I had a nice sized croaker jump into my boat...who needs fishing tackle???:fishing2:
