Fished above the bridge today on the Middlesex side. Caught spot, croaker, stiffbacks and 1 undersized flounder. Put about 25 in the box. The spot were small but some of the croaker went to 18". Action was slow but steady. Used squid and bloodworms.

You had a pretty day for a ride up the river. Glad you caught some fish. Hope the Spot start showing up and getting a little bigger.

Can you pick up many white perch (stiffbacks) with consistency in the Piank? They are very neat (and tasty) fish. I assume the best bets are above the bridge and even approaching the dragon way up. Any suggestions?

DRB, fished the Rapp. Can't help you on the Piankatank. Howard, it was a beautiful day on the water. Just about perfect.
