HIT N RUN

Boat: Reel Fancy
Crew: Bert, Joey, Tilley, Bryan, Jeremy and Me
Fished with buddy boat Poor Boys Toy & later with others, from the 600-650 in 71.5-73.5 degree clean aqua green blend. Had a good stretch of virgin sulfur/dead/older grass edge to fish in the am & we both managed a good # of early morning bites form the gaffers. Later we spread out & found some mammals on the 615-620 overboard & managed a handful of Yellowfin bites from repeated passes along the leading edge of a pod of 2 tones moving south like wild fire. Only held 1though.:helpsmilie: Must have been smaller class based on the misses + the overall size of the one we boxed but were cool to see regardless, darting through the flats & shorts. The high light of the day for me was seeing 2 separate shots at billfish. One only window shopped my right long but wouldn't commit despite my best repeated attempts while the snd blind sided us on the left middle & took to the air before pulling the hook. Both looked to be nice fish. Oh well. Kept us on the edge of our seats if nothing else. All in all another beautiful day on the water out of OI. Man I can never get enough. Can't wait to get back next weekend. See you then. Good fishing with all the buddy boats today!!!!:fishing2:
Jeremy's first ever tuna.
