Well I know you guys are in the Founder/ spade kind of mood and Josh and I are too but the best bet this weekend was Croakers though we did catch some release flounder. Saturdays charter could do no wrong and the fish bit everthing we put in the water. Final talley was 350 plus with 30 fish over 2 pounds. No kidding 30 over 2pounds. Sundays charter was a less expericeced group where I had to do all the casting baiting and takeing the fish off the hook so we tired again said tried to keep 5 rods out but most of the time were only able to keep 3 or 4 working and bailed the fish again just below old bouy 9. Sunday afternoon we went to the humps to check out how the spot bite was comming on and I hooked up with a 11 inch spot and many other 1/2 pounders while Josh and Diane bailed super jumbo Croakers to 19 inches. Great weekend of pullage and pics of the catch are at "Mister J's Pleasure" Saltwater Charters If We Book You...We'll Hook You. (http://www.misterjspleasure.com). Go to weekly fishng report to see pics of each trips catch. Next charter for me will be Friday but Josh and I are hoping to to do a little light tackle Rock / Floundering in the river or make the run over to the Cell next Sunday.

Have a good one

I saw you out there Bobby. Those big fat 2+ pound croaker on light takle are no longer croaker.......but Silver Drum! They hit like a hammer and pull like a truck. Glad you had a nice weekend of fishing for your customers.

We spent the week at Grey's Pt and had some great times out there reeling in those big Croaker and Spot. Capt. Jenkins, thanks to you and your reports, I was able to keep my 2 year old and wife entertained. We did try for the Flounder but only got smaller fish. We hope to try them again this weekend. If ya'll see a 27' Judge w/ red enclosures, say hey!

Bobby,

Thank you for your reports over the years I really look forward to them. One question. Where is old bouy 9 located?

Bouy 9 was pulled and replaced with bouy 10 5-6 years ago(maybe longer). It was located about 1/2 a mile across from and a out 1/2 mile below the new bouy 10. You'll see the boats.
