My brother has a time share in HH mid August. Would like to go fishing. Not sure if I want to trailer my 23' cc down there. Maybe. We have small kids, so anything that will bite a hook is fine. Where can we fish without running far? Any good head boats down there? If I decide to go fishing myself, who is a good charter?
Thanks for your help.

Lots of fishing close by in hilton head. The river has bridges and reefs to fish. Tarpon will be available then. Also the saltwater ponds on the island have nice reds, trout and flounder in them.
Here is a pic of the river when we went cobia fishing in April and a pic of a red we caught in one of the ponds. We also caught a 4 lb. speck.

...might want to also pic up some fiddlers and try dock pilings for sheepshead. Easy fishing and inshore structure and sheephead are plentiful down there. Fishing for bonnet head sharks in the tidal cuts down there is also alot of fun and easy.. all you need is a quarter or half of hardcrab for bait on a 6.0 circle hook..also will catch some reds this way.
