Are croaker still available near Tappahannock?

I have not been out in about 3 1/2 weeks. Are there still Croaker biting up near Tappahannock or should I go further down the river? Thanks for any help.

went out of bell isle marina a few weeks ago and could only fish one rod they were thick in there. I would imagine they are still around too ... 14-18 ft of water gulp crab baits cut into 4 pieces just like a regular peeler
was the ticket..

I've been fishing down river near Wheeling's and have had non stop action. Two rods will keep you reel busy. (pun intended)
