croaker this week

planning a trip to fish for croaker this week Will appreciate if anyone can tell me if they are still around the York RIver State Park or near Tappahanock?Any suggestions will be appreciated.Dont get to come often due to work.

We caught a lot of Croakers this weekend in the Towle's Point area of the Rappahanock.
We also caught some 4-6" Spot which we cut up for bait. All of our biggest Croakers
were caught on cut bait.

Try the powerlines near the 360 bridge in Tappahannock. Anchor close to the red bouy near the powerlines. Use shrimp and fish the outgoing tide for big croakers. West Point - anchor near any channel markers. York River State Park - anchor right across from the boat ramp. Be careful because there is not much water at the ramp at low tide.
