Got bored while on the ship for duty so I decided to get a line wet. In 30 minutes caught 8 Croaker with the smallest about 1/2 lb to the largest which was a little over 2lbs. 5 of the 8 were right at the 2lb mark. Caught them between the ship and the pier on fish bites(Bloodworm).

when I worked on the piers there...hooking up the shore power and fixing breakers...i couldn't help myself and fished between them and thru the big holes in the pier....slayed the croaker,trout,puppy drum,tog and striper....it was great fun...especially during hurricane watch....
(nobody there to bother you). Theres some big tog around those pilings....just the shore patrol gets a little power trip going.....I know the sheepshead are there as well....they were always around the ole ammo crib they tore up.....
