Finally

Got some fish last night from the shore. Lots of bait out and the water was high and murky, but if you fished real slow, you could pick up some fish. Only fished for a few minutes, but got a couple nice white perch and a yellow about a foot long. Let them go and lost another bigger yellow that was jumping out of the water like a bass. Thought they were Walleye at first. Seemed like that fish were pushing the bait up against the shoreline. Too bad I had to cut it short.

Finally is right....fishing in the river seems to have turned on much slower than in the past few years. Or maybe the wait is always this agonizing?!?
