What to fish for tonite?

Got invited by a buddy to fish Chisman/York/Poq flats tonite. Not sure if I want to go, as it seems like a croaker trip to me. Anybody know of anyting else biting at nite out in that area? They are leaving Dare marina at 10pm and fishing until whenever. The boat is small and slow, so Poq River/Chisman/Poq flats is about as far as we can run.

Any help would be appreciated...or do you agree that it would just be croaker city out there?

I would think you might be able to get on some pups or trout around the flats i haven't fished there since last july but we did real good with the pups on gulp mullets.... good luck Brandon

the flounder are supposed to be right good on the flats right now, and i second what finfever said about the pups and specks, you could try goodwin island or the hot ditch at amoco

You know you love catching croaker, hope you slayed em. Or maybe you cast netted hundreds of fish for bait for tomorrow instead.
