Old Threads - only 3 months worth???

Brandon - am I correct in noticing there are only about 3 months of threads kept on the site these days? What gives? Thats so much lost information. I thought the idea of the forum community was to have a wealth of knowledge that compiles over the years so we can look back and remember things from days gone by. Thanks for helping me understand this one.

Hi Matt

You are not correct. We have been keeping all the information on the site back several years now for the exact reason you mention, all the information is a great resource. We were not able to keep all the threads when we were under the old platform, but that is back over two plus years now.

What is leading you to suggest that we are not keeping the threads back several years?

For instance if I go to the MD Chesapeake Angler Message Board and scroll to the bottom and click on "Last Page" I get posts going all the way back to 03-29-2005 . All threads on all the boards should go back to this date. We do have the threads from March 2001 to 03-29-2005, but have not been able to import them yet because they are in a totally different database format. We do plan on importing them at some point in the future so we have the whole TidalFish.com history.
