Last time I caught one I only saw half of him, a Blue ate the other half before I could get him out of the water.

Sounds like the mid 80`s Dennis..Last big grey (10 lb+) I caught was in 89. at the 4th.

You are right. That is about the time(mid-late 80's) that 10 + was routine. In the mid 90's 5lbs seemed to be a big deal. Now the way I see it if you catch one that is a keeper you have done something. It is a shame.

I usually pick up 1/2 doz. or so wirelinning in the fall..These fish
go somewhere between 3 & 5 lbs. Damn shame what happened
to those big grey`s--Fass Brothers Fishing Fleet owned by Lady
Byrd is what happened along with Chuck Robb.!
