I am headed to the outer banks and don't really want to drag the Parker all the way down and back. Still want to fish though. I've been eyeing the kayak scene for a few years and have decided this would be a great opportunity to give it a try if I could find someone who rents them. Anybody here know of an operation somewhere between Maryland and the outer banks that does this? Thanks.

There are places all over Hatteras Island ... None are set up for fishing but bring a Milk crate and attach some rod holders to it...bring some bungees and tie wraps for rigging... rent one for a week (don't pay more then 65 bucks)

and set it up yourself... that's what I did for years before I started taking mine with me

Try Kitty Hawk Kites around MM 10 or 11 in Nags Head. I believe they rent.

Kitty hawk kites rents heritage redfish 12 and 14's...they come ready to fish. 3 rod holders and a five lb anchor. Paddle leash. Ask for the redfish 14. Very stable sit on top
