Rigged and ready. Looking for a direction. Got the hoo's and beer on ice!
My friend Keith got a 186 bigeye out past norfolk canyon today. he said there were yft's in the mix too, but they either jumped off or broke off at the gaff. Lotsa meat on that bigeye. can you say 3 foot long loins? lol

Talked with a couple of folks....they found them with some bigger ones mixed in with the smaller ones. 400-450 line I think was the best bite.

Thanks mike. This trip is for my lab. We did not make it out due to motor problems at the ramp (OI) last time. Thanks for the sat shots. It has been a couple of weeks but I still cant get her out of my mind. This will be her last trip and some ashes will be in the stream forever.

Thats the way to do it Jimmy..tough to forget something that is so close to you..especially a dog who is your best friend!!.. I have a 13 year old lab and I will be doing the same thing when the time comes. May peace rest her sole!!!
I had 2 buddies fish today and the bite did not seem to be what is was. Tomorrow is a different day... Catch em' up.... I will be out there this weekend. Let us know how you do. Ben
