Trying to go out with a buddy of mine spearfishing on Friday. He's experienced and it's my first time. Anyone got any suggestions on where we should go for sheeps, togs, or spades around the CBBT. We will be snorkeling, not diving with tanks.

Try the 3rd or 4th. island during high tide. Stay away from the ends and let the more experienced hunter be "on point" (follow just behing with unloaded speargun) untill you get the hang of it.
