Thursday, went south of Poormans,, oh and the fleet was there in force,, didnt get a bite till we trolled away from them.
Had a couple mystery bites,, white belly and rolling,, maybe a shark,, unbuttoned.
Had a big long fish hit bally hard,, angler was reeling,, boat was fast forward,, Fish passed us on the port,, Fish Gone. Maybe a shark or bluemarlin??
Now tuna time,, multiples on and off,, small ones,, something broke a 50lb mainline, lost a spreader bar,(better check the drags).
finnaly get a keeper YFT bout 25lbs,, then a nice 35 and a 50lber.
Now I get my fatty, and had trouble keeping the boat moving forward(green stand in Capt):helpsmilie: fish at the gaff ran under boat Fishgone, broken leader, set the rods troll back over and 3 tuna on,, all under,,, Well its fishen.
Oh and as I see it 66.6 is the magic number for tuna on the cold side.
